1. Which wedding package is best for me? How much time do I need to hire someone for on my wedding day?

This is a tricky question to answer. I always ask my clients, "What do you want to remember most on your wedding day?" I want your wedding to be stress-free and perfect for you! I want it to reflect what you dreamed of and ideally want. Things to consider - Do I want the following: First looks, getting ready photos, ceremony, reception, one-on-one couples session prior to or after the ceremony, cutting the cake, etc.? All these things need to be considered when booking a photographer. For a better idea of what may work best for you, please view my wedding packages tab - underneath every package, there is a description that gives you a rough idea of what you can typically accomplish photography-wise in the amount of time you are looking to hire me for.

2. I don't want a standard wedding package. I want to elope!

 

Elopements are a wonderful idea, ideal for those who want to have a very intimate and adventurous experience! Please visit the tab "packages and pricing" to see what options you have for an elopement with me. Please note, an elopement session can happen anywhere in Ontario up to 2 hours from Toronto. Travel costs are already included in the package.

3. How long will it take to receive my photos? How many photos will I receive and how?

On average for a wedding, I provide anywhere from a minimum of 60-100 HD edited images per paid hour. For instance, if you hired me for 8 hours, you can expect a minimum of 480-800 or more photos! Images are sent to you through a beautiful online gallery where you can download and share the high-quality images with loved ones. Typically, photos are received anywhere from 4-12 weeks after your wedding day. For engagement shoots, I provide a minimum of 80 HD images within 2 weeks after your shoot!

4. What would you describe your photography style as?

I would say my editing style definitely has more earthy tones to it, with a tint of yellow at times. I prefer to shoot outdoors or inside a space with as many windows as possible because I am a huge nature lover and love the look of natural light on my clients. However, if necessary to shoot indoors where not much natural light is available (e.g. reception), I am ready to do so as well - that's what my flash is for!

 

In terms of my style working with clients, I am really a go with the flow and in the moment kind of gal (e.g. if my bride needs her hair twirled a little more for a photo, I will definitely make sure that is done) and I try not to pose as much as possible. I encourage my clients to move throughout our shoots so that I can get authentic shots. If my clients do not feel as confident in front of the camera, I offer suggestions for various poses until eventually the process is effortless. I often share my favourite images with clients off my camera screen during our sessions as well - this makes my clients feel more comfortable knowing that their photos are turning out great!

5. What is your experience with photography? What gear do you own?

I started second shooting in 2018 and since then have booked my own weddings. I own two Canon Bodies: Canon R6 (mirrorless) and 5D mark iii as well as three amazing lenses: 24-35mm sigma art, 50mm sigma art, 100mm canon macro.

6. Do you travel?

I travel within Ontario. If a wedding is further than 60km from Hamilton, there are additional fees for travel. When inquiring about my services, please let me know the location of your venue and ceremony so that I can calculate the additional fees. This also applies to engagement sessions/other sessions located further than where I am located. The travel fee is added onto the final package price point.

7. I love your work! How can I book you?

Amazing!! I am honoured you have chosen me to photograph your special day! To book me, please complete the Wedding/Engagement Form (found in packages and pricing tab) and contact me as soon as possible to reserve your special day. I require a 30% non-refundable retainer to officially book you into my calendar. After that, the remaining balance is due 3 weeks before your wedding day! :)

Only interested in a couples/engagement session? That's great as well! Fill in the same form (Wedding/Engagement Form) found in the packages and pricing tab and indicate you wish to hire me for only this session. I would be more than happy to book you in my calendar!

8. I am interested in booking you for a private photoshoot or event, not a wedding. How do I do this and how much will it cost?

I don't just photograph weddings, I also offer a variety of other private photoshoots and event photography such as christenings, birthday parties, school events, etc. Simply contact me using the contact form (click "contact me" tab) and fill in the information required. I will reply to you as soon as possible with a quote.

*Please note, shoots that are further than 60km from me will result in additional transportation fees.
